the foot of the Medicine Bow Mountains alongside the Big Laramie
River, the Woods Landing Resort offers a quiet getaway in a full-service
yet rustic setting. The Woods Landing Bar & Cafe is well known
for its fine food and hospitality as well as lively Saturday night
dances in the historic dance hall. Just 25 miles southwest of
Laramie, Wyoming the Resort offers two new deluxe log cabins,
six rustic log cabins, teepee camping, RV hookups, and a country
store/gas station and post office. In addition to daily horseback
rides into the Medicine Bow National Forest, other summer activities
include blue ribbon fly fishing on the Big Laramie River and numerous
lakes in the area, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting and
conoeing, hunting, and just plain relaxing in the quiet, tranquil
setting. Winter activities include ice fishing, snowshoeing, and
cross country skiing and snowmobiling on nearby groomed trails
in the Medicine Bow National Forest. The Resort is open daily
for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
